Last Hurrah!

last-ditcch-scarf-v1.jpg

It may feel like Spring is here, but Old Man Winter still has a few tricks up his sleeve.  This weekend, when the temperatures dip one last time, battle the cold and the Winter Blahs with a new, quick-knit scarf.  It will knit up in no time and cure those nasty winter blues.

 Last Hurrah Scarf

Materials
one skein Cascade Magnum in Ecru
U.S. size 19 needles
tapestry needle

Pattern
Cast on 12 stitches

Row 1: *Purl one, Knit one; repeat from * to end
Row 2: *Knit into the stitch below the one on the needle, Purl one; repeat from *to end

Repeat only Row 2 until scarf measures 60 inches.

Bind off in the knit stitch.

Weave in all ends.

Enjoy!  And wear fearlessly in the face of Old Man Winter!

Made it in Como, so soft and the pattern makes very stretchy.
